Tanner Brethorst and Alex Meine are releasing “Who Will Sing My Song,” their first album as the duo The Dust Settlers, as part of two area shows December 15 and 16. The record was recorded by Winona area musician Noah Glenn and mastered by Eau Claire sound guru Camden Webster. The pair have been playing together on and off since high school. Brethorst says, “Alex turned me on to Doc Watson in high school, and old-time folk and bluegrass music has been a passion of mine ever since.” Many Winona people know of the pair through their Wednesday night residency at Ed’s No Name Bar, and the duo has a host of friends and admirers in the regional bluegrass community who will surely join them for the two release shows in December.
