With family gatherings, busy schedules, entertaining and the pressure of expectations around all this, we can find ourselves struggling to find any real enjoyment. In this one-day workshop, we’ll learn about and practice ways to keep our compassion alive for ourselves and for the many others around us.

Winter On Ice Spectacular is presented by the Chad Erickson Memorial, and produced by the Tri-State Toe Picks Figure Skating Club, their Learn to Skate USA program, and the City of Onalaska. Santaland Diaries

Pump House Regional Arts Center and La Crosse Community Theatre present, SantaLand Diaries, a hysterical send-up of the crass commercialization of Christmas. An unemployed actor takes a job as a Macy’s elf during the holiday crunch. At first the job is simply humiliating, but once the thousands of visitors start pouring through Santa’s workshop, he becomes battle-weary and bitter, occasionally taking out his frustrations on children and parents alike.
