‘Beauty in the Simple Things’ Artist Reception

Lanesboro Arts presents “Beauty in Simple Things,” an exhibition of still life oil paintings by Patricia Schu. The exhibit opens with an artist reception on Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 6-7:30 p.m., and runs through June 17, 2018. The reception will include wine and hors d’oeuvres, as well as live music.

Patrick Scully in ‘Leaves of Grass — Illuminated’

Patrick Scully, a Minnesota native and the founder of Patrick’s Cabaret in Minneapolis, summons the spirit of Walt Whitman in this one-man show, voicing the poet’s words and adding his own artistic flavor. The performance is a physical embodiment of Whitman’s work through dance and a reflection of the poet’s art, spirituality, sexuality, and gender expression.
