Free Student Tuesdays at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum

The MMAM is free for students of any age every Tuesday. This free admission policy excludes docent-led tour groups, however it does allow teachers to integrate their curriculum with the Museum without financial barriers. Students should be prepared to show a valid Student ID upon arrival.

Mary Solberg: Water Portraits

Mary Solberg is a Minneapolis painter whose bold, iconic figurative work is influenced by religious imagery, the great master artists, vintage postcards, and circus sideshow banners. She paints people or animals living or dead, real or imagined, to venerate them on a more personal level.

Matty Ann and The Vacants, Boats and Bridges, and Rogue the Wolf

Matty Ann Barnetzke, known professionally as Matty Ann, is a contemporary artist and musician. She has released music under both her own name as well as with punk rock band A Blue Harbor. Boats and Bridges is a five piece folk-rock band that formed in Eau Claire during the fall of 2015. Members include Dan Colburn, Andy Colburn, Anders Nelson, Robbie Weisshaar and Will Linstrom.

Frogleg

Known for their songwriting and improvisational live performances, Frogleg would be best described as a soul band, as their influences are not drawn from one specific genre. A typical Frogleg show usually features a unique blend of Funk, Reggae, Rock and Jazz exploration.
